Fikira Mac 26.10.17 and Windows 26.10.17 are the current releases. New in 26.10.17: every week of a class has a short lesson with a worked example and quick checks with feedback, Fikira writes these lessons from a teacher's syllabus and checks them before students see them, students see what to do next and what is due for review, and teachers see whether students come back, finish lessons and try again after a miss. Also included from 26.10.16: the Learners tab shows the same students and numbers as the Fikira website, you sign in once on each computer for 90 days, Fikira masters see every user and class from Teacher Studio, questions are checked before students see them, and Ask Fikira checks its arithmetic with a calculator. Also included from 26.10.15: classes you joined earlier and the scores saved on your computer reach your teacher when you open Fikira; teachers paste their class list and see who has connected and who has not yet; WhatsApp learners link their email so their work counts with their desktop work; the master view shows every registered user and class; and Fikira is lighter on 8 GB computers. Also included from 26.10.14: Fikira asks once for your email, so your teacher sees your progress and you hear about updates; your answers in a class reach your teacher with the learning outcome each question tests and how sure you were; a short check when you join a class and the same check at the end show how much you learned; teachers see every student in the class, on any computer or WhatsApp, in the Learners tab; and the privacy notes say what goes to your teacher. Also included from 26.10.12: the verification code from your email now works on every computer, and a refused code says why; students see their score in plain words after every quiz and practice test, can retest the questions they missed, and see their scores week by week; Fikira offers and uses only AI models tested on real course tasks; and course analysis keeps what is complete and tells you if a graded task was not covered. Also included from 26.10.10: class codes can carry your institution's three letters; Curriculum Review checks a course's quizzes and graded work against good assessment practice; and students see their teacher's rule for using AI on each graded task. Also included from 26.10.9: teachers can share a class with another teacher or hand it over, after confirming their email; course analysis keeps going when an AI model only thinks without answering; your own paid AI key works again; and you can connect your Ollama account to use bigger models in Ollama's cloud. Also included from 26.10.8: the AI model you choose in Settings answers in every part of Fikira, with the time it needs on your computer; Settings and other pop-up windows fit the screen and scroll; long course texts are kept whole, and the syllabus audit can add standard statements in one click. Also included from 26.10.7: students can join a teacher's class with its code on any computer, and the teacher's later changes reach them; teachers can open a class they manage by its code, and their saved changes reach students and WhatsApp within seconds. Also included from 26.10.6: you can upgrade to a bigger AI model in one click: Fikira shows a short note with a Download now button and a progress bar, suggests the model size that runs well on your computer, checks its speed after downloading, and keeps the faster model you already have. Also included from 26.10.5: Fikira uses the largest AI model your computer can run at a usable speed, offers a larger model when one fits (including models that read images such as graphs and photos of handwritten work), and lets you choose your model in Settings. Also included from 26.10.4: multiple-choice practice checks no longer put the right answer in the same position every time, and the problem that stopped 26.10.3 from opening is fixed; if you installed 26.10.3, download the current version. Also included from 26.10.2: teachers can generate course codes again, and course changes and the encrypted workspace backup save correctly when signed in. Also included from 26.10.1: emailed sign-in and reset codes now work reliably, a teacher's workspace opens only for that teacher and is stored encrypted, and only signed-in teachers and training providers can create courses. Security settings for the app's local connections were tightened. The first screen is School or college or Workplace training. Teachers, students, and parents stay in school. Providers open a catalog-first desk. Participants enter a private organization code.
The Mac app is signed with Apple Developer ID and accepted by Gatekeeper as a Notarized Developer ID app outside the Mac App Store.

Learning conversations and saved work stay on the computer by default. In a class, answers to quizzes, practice tests and checks go to the teacher. Optional account, sync, feedback, and update services use the internet only when needed.
Fikira is moving toward smoother shared-device profiles, profile restore, and cross-device child access while keeping local use simple.
The first Android scaffold is available as a test APK. It is for validating course-code join and learner study actions before Play Store signing and distribution.

Click the download button for your system. Mac users: choose Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3) or Intel. Once the DMG downloads, open it and drag Fikira to your Applications folder.

Ready to use in about 60 seconds.When you open Fikira for the first time, it checks whether the local AI model is ready on your device. If the model needs to be downloaded, Fikira handles this completely on its own.
You will see a progress bar while Fikira downloads the Qwen model that fits your computer. This happens once, and the download size depends on your device. After setup, the core course tools can run privately on the device. Updates and optional online services still need internet access.
On your first visit, choose School or college, or Workplace training. School or college then offers Teacher, Student, or Parent. Workplace training then offers I run programs, or I have an organization code.
Return visits go to the last world and seat. If you are in the wrong room, use the small link to switch.
Setup takes under two minutes.Fikira runs the AI entirely on your device, so it needs enough storage and memory to run the local model comfortably.
