Apple Silicon (arm64) refers to Macs made from late 2020 onward using Apple's M1, M2, M3, or M4 chips. Intel Macs are older models using Intel processors. If you are unsure which you have, click the Apple menu, then About This Mac, and look at the chip or processor listed.

The Windows installer is signed by Frame the Change LAB through Azure Trusted Signing, so Windows normally shows the publisher's name. If SmartScreen still shows a warning, choose More info, check that the publisher is Frame the Change LAB, then choose Run anyway.

Core features run locally. The local AI model requires a one-time download on first launch. Some tutoring features that use a cloud model require an internet connection. The download page notes which features require connectivity.

Open Fikira and use the profile switcher at the top of the screen. Each profile maintains its own context, grade level, and subject settings.

On Mac, try right-clicking the app icon and choosing Open instead of double-clicking. This bypasses Gatekeeper for first-launch trust. On Windows, check that your antivirus is not blocking the installer. If the issue persists, download a fresh copy from the download page.

This means the internet connection dropped while the update was downloading. Nothing is lost: Fikira keeps running the version you have, with your courses and progress. Choose Check for Updates again; it usually finishes on the next try. If it keeps stopping, download the latest installer from the download page and install it over your current copy.

26.10.3 was missing some of its files and could not start. Download the current version from the download page and install it over 26.10.3. Your courses and progress are kept.

Each Fikira profile can be protected with a 6-digit PIN. When a PIN is set, anyone using the same computer must enter the correct PIN before accessing that profile's learning context, saved work, and settings.

This is useful any time Fikira is installed on a shared computer: a school lab machine, a family computer, a library terminal, or any device used by more than one person. The PIN keeps each learner's profile, progress, and context private from others on the same device. No account or internet connection is required for the PIN to work. All verification happens locally on the device.

To set or change your PIN, open your profile settings from within Fikira. Your PIN is hashed and stored locally. Fikira does not transmit PINs to any server.

Open Course Code, then Class control. If Fikira asks, confirm your email with the 6-digit code it sends. You then stay signed in on that computer for 90 days. Under Classes you control, choose Give control and enter the other teacher's email. Pick Share if you both should be able to change the class. Pick Hand over if they should become the owner, and you stay a co-manager. They get an email and can accept at framethechangelab.com/account or in the app under Course Code, Class control.

Fikira offers only models we have tested on real course work. Computers with 16 GB of memory or more use the larger model (about 3.3 GB to download), which gives fuller answers. Computers with 8 GB use the smaller one (about 1.9 GB), which is faster. Both can read images. Fikira suggests the right one in Settings, under AI model on this computer.

Check your spam or junk folder. If you asked more than once, use the newest code. Since version 26.10.12, a code works even if your computer's clock is wrong, and a refused code tells you why. If it still does not work, ask for a new code or let us know using the last question on this page.

Sign in to Fikira with your email, then choose Join a class and type the code. Your email is how your teacher sees your progress.

After each quiz or practice test, Fikira shows your score and offers to retest the questions you missed. The My scores card shows your score for each week of the class.

When you join a class, your answers to its quizzes, practice tests and checks go to your teacher with your name and email. That includes the answer you chose, whether it was right, how long you took and how sure you were. Your teacher also sees when you asked Fikira for help, but not what you asked. Your chats and saved work stay on your computer.

When you open a class you joined, Fikira offers a short check of a few questions. It is not graded and shows no answers. The same questions come back at the end of the course, so you can see how much you learned.

In quizzes and practice tests, after you choose an answer, tap Not sure, Fairly sure or Sure. The tap checks your answer and helps tell a lucky guess from something you have really learned.

Open the Learners tab of your class. The first time on a computer, Fikira may ask for the 6-digit code it emails you. You then stay signed in there for 90 days. You see every student who joined, on any computer and on WhatsApp, by learning outcome. You also see who needs you this week, with a suggested next step. Paste your class list, names and emails, to see who has not connected yet. The full view and downloads are at framethechangelab.com/account. Students need the current version of Fikira for their answers to reach you.
